One of the things I've always loved most about fashion is its ability to express who we are. The pieces we wear become part of our lives. They reflect what inspires us, what we love, and how we want to feel every time we get dressed.
From the beginning, I knew I wanted Betty & George to be more than a collection of sweaters. I wanted it to become a platform for creativity, collaboration, and connection. I've always been inspired by interesting people, artists, founders, designers, photographers, musicians, and creators who see the world a little differently. It felt natural that their work, their ideas, and their perspective would eventually become part of the world of Betty & George.
There was no better place to begin than with my dear friend, Paul Rusconi. I've been in awe of Paul's talent for years. Every time I see his work in a gallery or watch him create, I imagine one of his pieces in my home. Now, we can. As we began talking about this collaboration, I kept coming back to one idea: creating art you could actually live in. Not simply artwork on a sweater, but pieces that carry meaning, spark conversation, and become part of your everyday life.
Together, we created a capsule that brings Paul's artwork to cashmere, transforming sweaters into wearable works of art. This is just the beginning. Betty & George will continue to collaborate with artists, founders, and creators whose work has genuinely inspired me people I admire, collect, learn from, and simply believe more people should know about. My hope is that these collaborations become pieces you'll wear, collect, and treasure for years to come.
